Thank You for catering our fundraising event for the past 3 years. The food has alway been top-notch, from the pulled pork BBQ and Smoked Chicken to the sliced sirlion tip roast. The sides and fresh salads were outstanding. Your staff is excellent and has always been courteous. We were Very impressed with your ability to handle the 400+ guest events.

Dear Josh,
I was delighted with the pig roast you did for us on July 31. We had just over 50 people for an open house, with the main festivities in our barn. The weather cooperated so your service was outside. The pulled pork and chicken were cooked just right, moist and tender. The corn bread was not dried out like is so often the case and the potato salad was delicious. (I love potato salad). The quantities you suggested were right on, very little left overs. Your pit boss was very attentive, wanting to be sure the service started when we wanted it to.

WOW !!! Talk about the perfect day... and you so helped to make it that way!! All of the food was DE-licious, pig...awesome, sides...magnificient, and we loved your guys!!! Totally perfect, and EVERYONE enjoyed and bragged on it all; we were so proud, and hope there'll be an occasion for you to come back. Maybe we can even meet you, Josh. Valley Pig Pickin has catered our NWTF Banquet for the last two years and will also be doing so in the spring of 2009. The BBQ pork and chicken is the best we have had in 7 years of our event. Guests at our banquet have also given many positive remarks on the quality of the meal Josh prepares. I would recommend the food from Valley Pig Pickin to anyone who has a taste for some good ole BBQ.

There seemed to be a line 10 deep all night long at your stand! My personal favorite was the Carolina Pepper Vinegar on the pulled pork, but everything was delicious!

My husband and I got married October 20th of 2008 and hired Valley Pig Pickin' to cater our reception with tasty barbeque. To this day, guests of our wedding are still complimenting us on the tasty barbeque, especially the pulled pork and beef brisket that was served by Valley Pig Pickin'. I have been to so many weddings where the food was terrible so it was so important to me that people walk away with a good meal and Valley Pig Pickin' was perfect. Many of our guests have even gone as far as to say it was the BEST barbeque they have ever had. The food was incredible as well as the service from the planning stages up to the event. As a bride, planning her own wedding, you could not have asked for better quality and service. The dinner went off smoothly without a hitch and the staff knew exactly what they were doing with little direction from me (which was none due to the fact that it was my wedding day). I have recommended them time and time again to friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you for making our day so special and providing a meal to remember.

Thanks again for another great dinner, just like last year. Everyone really enjoyed the BBQ and sides again and many told us so spontaneously. The fact that you prepare on site, treating us to that delicious cooking odor, is an added treat to our guests. Of particular importance to me is the fact that I can count on you to be there with everything set up and ready on time. Being on schedule is important as we have a full program to conduct. All I have to do is schedule Valley Pig Pickin’ and the food for the event is taken care of. We will be setting the date for next year’s annual event soon and will again book Valley Pig Pickin’ a year in advance.

Hey Josh,
What an incredible job you guys did for us. The pork and chicken were outstanding as were all of the sides. Your presentation, appearance, equipment were all top notch. I have been cooking BBQ for over thirty years and as you know owned and operated my own business at Lake Anna. I know the difference between bad, just ok, pretty good and really great BBQ. You guys should cook in competition because you cook really great BBQ. I would gladly recommend you to anyone. Please feel free to use me as a reference.
